Tokenized US Treasuries Hit Record $7.45B Amid Market Rebound
Tokenized US Treasury products surged to a historic $7.45 billion valuation on August 27, eclipsing the previous July peak by $30 million. The milestone completes a 14% recovery from August's $6.51 billion trough, reversing a 12% mid-summer correction.
BlackRock's BUIDL fund dominates with $2.38 billion in assets, commanding nearly one-third of the sector's total market cap. WisdomTree's WTGXX led recent inflows with $440 million, while Circle's USYC and OpenEden's TBILL captured $253 million and $95 million respectively during the rebound.
The top five products now concentrate 73.6% of market share, demonstrating institutional dominance in this emerging asset class. Franklin Templeton's BENJI bucked the trend with $78 million in outflows, underscoring selective investor repositioning.
